Sly's Canuck Monkey - A Sequel! ;-)

If there was any doubt that YML listeners are the best, those doubts should now be erased.

Take a look at what YML's Official Pastor, Rory Gillespie sent to me (it arrived yesterday). The original Canuck Monkey (aka Jack) now has a buddy to help cheer on my beloved Vancouver Canucks (and after last night's game, they need all the help they can get).

In the note that came with the monkey, Rory wrote:

"I was so moved by your story of your Canuck Monkey, I just had to do something. So over the weekend I whipped out this little guy. I hope I got the colors right. The logo is a little iffy but I hope you recognize it as the Canucks patch.

Pastor Rory"

Egads! I can barely knit one row!! ;-)

Rory, thank you so much and as I mentioned in my email to you, YOU ROCK! What an awesome thing to do. The crest indeed is recognizable (heck, my mom didn't even attempt to knit the old Canucks crest in the monkey she created for me 20 years ago). And from your typed words to the hockey God's ears - the Canucks have got an uphill battle now to even hope to continue any further in the playoffs - so hopefully double monkey power will prevail! ;-)
