Apple iWork '08 Now Available
From MacMinute

Apple introduced iWork '08, a significant upgrade to its productivity software suite featuring new versions of Pages and Keynote word processing and presentation applications, and introducing a new spreadsheet application called "Numbers." Numbers introduces the concept of intelligent tables on a flexible canvas, a new approach that makes it easy to organize information, create calculations, analyze results and make spreadsheets look as great as they work.
"Pages and Keynote make it incredibly easy, and even fun, for anyone to create stylish documents and presentations very quickly," said Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO. "Numbers rounds out the iWork suite, which is far more intuitive and easy to use than anything else out there."
iWork '08 can import Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and AppleWorks word processing, presentation and spreadsheet files, and can export documents in Microsoft Office file formats or PDFs for easy sharing.
iWork '08 is now available for a suggested retail price of US$79. A 30-day trial version is available.

ouch
So now I have broken my previous record with how fast I buy a Mac product after reading about it. I am still waiting for the iLife08 introduction download to finish and have already placed my order for it and iWork. The previous record was the Nano which took me about 24 hours from the keynote.
About to publish my massive New Zealand picture count to the web (would have had to buy more space but .Mac is upping what is included by substantial amounts) and the changes they show will get me to hold off until it arrives.
While I was at it, was also thinking about iWork for Pages to put together some manuals (getting tired of Word and trying to position tables and illustrations plus they announced the delay to the next release) and with the addition to Numbers, done deal.
Both will be shipped within the next couple of days :)
LOL Good for you! Let us
