can you let us know who you are? i am interested in the option of sharing a room but would like to know a bit more about who with.

Like:

your age and sex?
are you new to the YML crowd, or can folks vouch for you?
New to macworld expo?
do you snore? can you stand snoring?
are you party person, drunk in the room or a quiet folk?
Do you plan on going to keynote, or mind if someone else is bumbling around the room at 2am getting ready to go stand in line.
What dates do you have the room for? Open to someone staying just part of that time?

Do you mind your roommate having company, what is they crash there?

these don't all apply to me, but may to some, so it is good info. roommates can be fun and useful, but also sucky if it is a bad match up.

Female last time i checked, and 33 according to the law, don't mind staying with boys, not shy in the slightest, will beat you silly if you make a serious pass at me, im happily married.

ive been macworld for 5 years, YML crowd for 3 or 4. yes many folks can vouch for me and will say i am great and can be a handful

•do you snore? can you stand snoring?
i do not usually snore and have a very very limited willingness to deal with others in the room that do.

•are you party person, "drunk in the room" or a strange quiet folk?
im a night person, like to party, don't like mornings, push myself to make peace with them for this one week.

yes i will be going to keynote (main line, no special entry) plan to be in line at sometime very very early in the morning, depending on folks around me. have done this for many years, yes i know it is stupid. i have no defense and dont need one.

•What dates do you have the room for? Open to someone staying just part of that time?
I curently have a room from Sat. jan 12th till Sun jan 20th, will let somone else use it or shorten the dates to matchmy travel dates after plans are final. or will give up my separate room to find a roomie. (all things being equal i would rather share in the room under my name or have my name added officially onto some one elses res.
My travel dates are Mon Jan 14th to Friday noon Jan 18th

dont mind others in the room, might have issue with others i dont know being handed keys or coming in without the known roomie. i may have a pal crash in room wed night who will be driving in and lives far away, i would not have them in the room unsupervised and personally trust them in my house any day. if my rommie was really not ok with this i could understand.

Yes i know thai all sounds like a lot of nick picking info, i have found the best way it to over prepared so that you can go hog wild later and not worry, really i am a great person and make a memorable time of the week every year.
