Apple takes Baby Steps with Canadian iTunes Store TV Shows
From Ars Technica
Apple today announced that TV shows are now available at the Canadian iTunes Store. While this inaugural offering isn't exactly a flood of programming, the handful of shows should help get the ball rolling and open the doors for more networks and shows.
For now, Canadians can purchase Little Mosque on the Prairie, The Rick Mercer Report, No Opportunity Wasted, and Dragon's Den from the CBC, Corner Gas, Instant Star, Degrassi: The Next Generation, and Robson Arms from CTV, Drawn Together, The Sarah Silverman Program, and South Park from Comedy Central, Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Hills from MTV, and NHL Games of the Year, which includes top NHL games from the 2007-2008 season, as well as a five-game bundle of Stanley Cup Classics games.
The shows can be bought for CAN$1.99 apiece and are already available at the same ol' 640x480.
