I really hope Nick Ciarelli’s life hasn’t been ruined by this. I hope he doesn’t owe Apple a giant cash settlement that he’ll never be able to pay. But at the same time, I hope he learned something from the experience, and I hope the journalists and bloggers who watched the story took the time to think it through rather than just jumping to a knee-jerk conclusion about how the Man’s always Keepin’ Us Down.
